Complete insight into your infrastructure

Advanced Monitoring brings together metrics, availability checks and alerts in a single interface – for VMs, clusters, services and applications.

Real-time metrics

CPU, RAM, disk I/O, network and process data are continuously recorded and clearly visualised – both per system and in aggregate form.

Alarms that matter

Define thresholds and escalation paths: notifications via email or webhook ensure that the right people are notified at the right time.

Availability checks

HTTP, TCP and Ping checks test your services from the outside – so you know what your users are experiencing, not just what the server reports.

History & Trends

Historical data shows load trends and growth – the basis for capacity planning and well-informed scaling decisions.

From the alarm to the solution

Monitoring integrated into your business

Alerts are just the start: in combination with Managed Services, centron experts respond to anomalies round the clock, cReports consolidates the data into regular reports, and you can seamlessly integrate Kubernetes clusters – providing monitoring for your entire environment.

Infrastructure Monitoring – Costs and Scope

How much does server monitoring cost at centron?

Basic monitoring is included free of charge in every centron cloud plan and monitors CPU, RAM, hard disk and network. Advanced Monitoring costs €4.99 per month and adds HTTP and TCP checks, custom thresholds and defined escalation procedures – 50 checks per VM are included. If you do not wish to respond to alerts yourself, you can opt for Managed Monitoring: centron will then handle the response around the clock, including fault rectification. All measurement data is processed exclusively in German, certified to ISO 27001 on the basis of IT-Grundschutz data centres.

Monitoring FAQ

Everything you need to know about Advanced Monitoring

What is Advanced Monitoring?

centron Cloud’s infrastructure monitoring: real-time metrics, availability checks, customisable alerts and dashboards for your entire environment – from individual VMs to Kubernetes clusters.

Which metrics are tracked?

System metrics such as CPU, RAM, disk and network utilisation, as well as service checks via HTTP, TCP and Ping. You can also integrate Kubernetes environments.

How do the alarms work?

You define thresholds and recipients; if a threshold is exceeded, the system sends a notification via email or webhook – with escalation levels to ensure that critical alerts never go unnoticed.

Can Centron respond to alarms?

Yes. As part of our Managed Services, centron experts monitor your systems round the clock and proactively resolve issues – with defined response times.

How long is data retained?

Metrics are available as historical data for analysis and capacity planning – this ensures that peak loads, trends and growth can be tracked over the long term.
