Applications & platforms – ERP in the data centre, not in the basement

ERP hosting: your ERP system, reliably operated

Merchandise management, accounting and production planning all depend on the ERP system. If it stops, the business stops. centron runs ERP systems such as Sage, Microsoft Dynamics or industry solutions on Managed Servers and VMs in its own data centres in Germany, with monitoring, backups and named contacts.

Why centron

What an ERP system needs from its hosting

An ERP system runs for many years and grows with the company. The hosting has to keep up with both, without you buying and maintaining your own server hardware.

Availability with a commitment

In the High Availability Pool, centron guarantees a monthly availability of 99.8 % in the service specification. For recovery after a failure, cProtect replicates the system roughly every 15 minutes into a separate fire compartment.

Operated by centron

With Managed Servers, centron takes care of the operating system, updates, monitoring and backups. Your ERP partner looks after the application, centron looks after the platform beneath it.

Database on NVMe

ERP databases are sensitive to slow storage. NVMe-based volumes and the Power Pool with guaranteed clock speed keep postings, reports and month-end closings running smoothly.

Evidence for auditors

Financial data is subject to retention obligations and gets audited. The data centres are certified to ISO 27001 based on IT-Grundschutz; for ccloud³ and Managed Cloud there is an unqualified BSI C5:2020 Type 1 attestation. The DPA and TOMs are in the Trust Center.

How operation works

From migration to month-end closing

centron and your ERP vendor plan the migration together, usually outside business hours. Sites and home offices reach the system via VPN. Before every version change, a snapshot provides a test system that matches production.
