Every managed server is backed up via our backup infrastructure – using SEP Sesam, a German-developed backup programme with German support. Backups are taken of the operating system’s data volumes as well as other partitions; we also generate daily dumps of databases.
With a Managed Server, centron takes care of all operational tasks – set-up, updates, security patches, monitoring and backups – whilst you focus on your applications. With a Root Server (Dedicated Server), you manage the system yourself and have full administrative freedom. Managed servers are worthwhile whenever internal IT resources are limited or business-critical systems need to be operated professionally.
