Healthcare: Cloud for the most sensitive data

Yes – however, the strictest requirements apply here: patient data constitutes special categories of data under Article 9 of the GDPR, and this is compounded by the doctor’s duty of confidentiality under Section 203 of the German Criminal Code (StGB). Patient data is encrypted in transit and at rest; cloud firewalls – optionally operated by centron as a Managed Firewall – and documented access controls secure operations.
