Windows Team Lead: Daniel Jarman
Meet Daniel Jarman, centron’s new Windows Team Lead, and learn about his journey from System Engineer to team leader.
We spoke to him about where his focus lies and what he would like to drive forward.
Christian, what do you expect from your new role? Are there any personal goals you would like to achieve?
My personal goal is to continue advancing automation processes within the Linux team. This will help us reduce recurring tasks in our day-to-day work and create a solid foundation for the next steps.
What will change for you?
I will no longer be working exclusively on technical topics. I will also be taking responsibility for my team, which is new for me.
What are you most looking forward to in your new position?
What I am actually looking forward to most is working with my team members. They have all worked in different roles in the past and bring a wide range of experience with them. That broadens our perspective as a team, and I really value the input of my colleagues.
Which topics would you particularly like to drive forward in your area?
We want to bring our processes up to date. That means taking a closer look at which tasks repeatedly take up time in our day-to-day work and developing workflows to optimize and automate them. We also receive valuable support from our colleagues in third-level support. By working toge-ther, we can create practical solutions and distribute the workload more effectively. I am con-fident that this will help us continue improving our efficiency in the future.
